Pellet Practice to Help Hit Your Mark

Today's airgun offerings provide a great way to get valuable trigger practice without the cost of traditional ammunition. Companies are making replica guns that look, feel and shoot the same as their powder charged counterparts. Pistols, rifles of old and new are being copied to detailed perfection.

Living in the woods with few neighbors I enjoy the luxury of setting up a range a few steps from my door. Even with the hustle and bustle of city life and close neighbors you too can enjoy some target practice. Pellet traps are available so no debris will clutter your living space and these traps are large enough to allow for up to a 10"x10" target. Noise is kept to a minimum so as ear protection is generally not needed, however EYE PROTECTION IS STILL A MUST and should unquestionably be worn at all times while shooting.

Airguns are less expensive than their bigger caliber brothers, so is the air propellent and ammo. A small investment in setting up your range and you are ready to work on all the same shooting fundamentals that will make you a better shot. Aiming, Breath Control, Hold Control, Trigger Control and Follow-through is all the same. Repetition improves these skills and inexpensive repetition allows for even more practice time on the trigger.
